Moving out
Section titled “Moving out”Use Housing when you no longer live in the building. Choose a future move-out date and optionally add a short note for staff.
Before removing your tenant account, Sicket should help confirm whether you meant to start the move-out flow instead.
Step-by-step
Section titled “Step-by-step”- Open
Settings. - Go to the moving out section.
- Read the explanation.
- Choose your move-out date.
- Add an optional note.
- Send the request.
You remain active until the move-out date. Staff can review and confirm the request. You can cancel it while it is still awaiting staff confirmation.
On the effective date, the building assignment becomes inactive and you lose access to that building. Historical tickets remain part of the organization’s records under its retention rules.
If you later return with the same email address, staff can invite the same account again. Do not create duplicate accounts just because an earlier building assignment ended.
Common issues
Section titled “Common issues”If you only want to change your email or password, do not use the move-out flow.
If you moved to another building using Sicket, ask staff how they want to handle the transfer.
Account deletion is not required for moving out. Use deletion only when you want to exercise the separate account privacy action.
