Settings and security

Understand the main settings organization admins should review.

Organization admins. Some account settings are available to every user.

Go to Settings.

  1. Organization branding.
  2. Building branding after selecting one building.
  3. Billing details and Stripe portal access.
  4. Profile, language, timezone, and time format.
  5. Notification preferences.
  6. Sign-in methods, password, and active sessions.
  7. AI settings where available.
  8. Legal, privacy export, and account-deletion actions.

Use a strong password and keep your email address up to date.

If you change your email, verify the new address before relying on it for notifications.

Review user access regularly.

Remove users who no longer belong to the organization.

Assign landlords only to buildings they manage.

Assign Observers only to buildings they need to inspect. Observer access is read-only, but it still exposes safe operational summaries.

Use Security to review active sessions, sign out other devices, and inspect a short previous-session history. Connect or disconnect Google only when another sign-in method remains available.

If a user appears as a guest or cannot access protected pages, they should sign in again.

If a feature appears locked, check the current plan, user role, and selected scope.

If dates appear wrong, verify the user’s timezone in Profile. Sicket formats API timestamps using the viewer’s chosen timezone.
