Announcements, news, and knowledge base
What this guide helps you do
Section titled “What this guide helps you do”Understand the tenant information areas in Sicket.
Announcements
Section titled “Announcements”Announcements are important building messages from staff.
Examples:
- elevator outage
- water interruption
- maintenance window
- access change
Some announcements may also appear as in-app notifications.
Use the unread filter to show announcements you have not opened. Read all clears all unread announcements available to you, including items outside the current page. Closing an announcement toast also marks that announcement as read.
News and updates
Section titled “News and updates”News posts are broader building updates.
Examples:
- renovation planning
- policy updates
- community information
- operational changes
A New label remains until you open the post. Published posts can have a cover image, category, date, and author where the author is not anonymous.
Knowledge base
Section titled “Knowledge base”The knowledge base contains reusable answers.
Examples:
- what to do when the elevator is out of service
- how to report a leak
- what to do if an access badge is lost
Open an entry to read the full answer. Search ranks relevant entries and can highlight matching terms. You can mark an answer helpful or not helpful.
Where to find them
Section titled “Where to find them”Use Announcements, News and Updates, and Knowledge Base in the sidebar. Active incidents also appear in News and Updates and on My Home where relevant.
How this helps ticket creation
Section titled “How this helps ticket creation”When you create a ticket, Sicket may suggest relevant updates, similar community tickets, and Knowledge Base entries before you submit.
Draft, scheduled, and archived staff communications are not shown to tenants. An announcement also remains hidden until its active time window begins.
