Announcements

Announcements are for one-to-many communication.

They are different from Tickets, which are used to track a specific problem or request.

Announcements work well for:

  • planned maintenance notices
  • urgent building updates
  • general resident communication
  • organization-wide updates

Do not use an Announcement when the situation needs:

  • individual follow-up
  • a tracked workflow
  • comments tied to one request

That is what Tickets are for.

Announcements can be:

  • organization-wide
  • building-scoped

What a user sees depends on their role and scope.

Important Announcements can be pinned for a period of time so they stay more visible in the dashboard.
